Ryan Mayberry is a 2019 Graduate of Hillsboro High School and the executive producer of JefJam.
Ryan's journey in music took off when his sister bribed him into auditioning for High School Choir by buying him 15 giant king sized kit-kats.
Towards the end of his freshman year, Ryan began producing music under the moniker, Chosen.
The name quickly became Chosen314, after he realized how commonly "Chosen" was used.
Listen to some of Chosen314's most recents songs below.
In his junior year, Ryan began experimenting with other genres of music, which led him to recording and producing for pop-punk band, Proceed from Afar.
He wasn't a member of the original group, but now serves as the band's bassist.
Ryan continued to work with more and more different musicians, which led him to form Makeshift Music, his independent record label / music collective.
Through Makeshift Music, Ryan assists local artists in writing, recording, and producing professional-level recordings. Makeshift Music also serves to create content for and with its artists.

After diving himself into the music industry, Ryan noticed how much talent there is in the Jefferson County area. The lack of opportunity for local musicians to perform led Ryan to create JefJam - a local music festival for local musicians. The event will also be a nonprofit - donating all profits to music programs in Jefferson County High Schools
The first annual event will be August 17, 2019 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro, MO.
Ryan graduated from Hillsboro High School in May 2019.
He plans to attend Middle Tennessee State University to continue pursuing his passion for music by majoring in Music Business.
